Our White Peony (Bai Mu Dan) is from Fuding, Fujian, China, made of freshly harvested tender buds and leaves with a delicate layer of silver hair, and were withered in the sun to allow the natural, mild oxidation to take place. White Peony (Bai Mu Dan) is classed as the 2nd grade white tea after Silver Needle. The taste is floral and fruity, with a subtle umami grassiness and sweetness. This tea is suitable for aging and the flavour will shift over years.

White Peony (Bai Mu Dan) | 白牡丹

Our White Peony (Bai Mu Dan) is from Fuding, Fujian, China, made of freshly harvested tender buds and leaves with a delicate layer of silver hair, and are withered in the sun to allow the natural, mild oxidation to take place. During which enzymes of the tealeaves interact with other constituents to form new materials that result in the final taste and aroma character of the tea. White Peony (Bai Mu Dan) is classed as the 2nd grade white tea below Silver Needle. The taste is floral and fruity, with a subtle umami grassiness and sweetness. The mouth-feel is full and thick, with a long-lasting sweetness. This tea is suitable for aging and the flavour will shift over years.

The gradings of Fuding white tea are:  
1st Grade – Bai Hao Yinzhen (Silver Needles)
2nd Grade – Bai Mu Dan (White Peony)
3rd Grade – Gong Mei 
4th grade – Shou Mei (Longevity Eyebrow)
 

我們的白牡丹來自中國福建福鼎,以新鮮採摘多茸毛芽葉品種的茶葉在陽光下自然萎凋乾燥的方式而製成。在此輕度氧化作用的過程中,茶葉中的酶與其他成分相互作用,從而形成茶葉的最終味道和香氣特徵。白牡丹被列為二級白茶,有花香和果香味,尾韻有淡淡的草香,口感飽滿而厚實,甜味持久。白茶適合陳放,味道會隨著時間的而轉變。

福鼎白茶的四個等級分別是:白毫銀針、白牡丹、貢眉和壽眉。
